- K&N’s Frankfurter Sausage - 7-8 sausages
- Prepared dough - as required
- Vegetable filling - as required
- Mozzarella cheese - 1 cup; grated
- Egg yolks - 5-6
For Dough
- All-purpose flour - 2 cups
- Olive oil - 2 tbsp
- Mixed herbs - 1 tbsp
- Salt - 1 tsp
- Water - as required
Divide the prepared dough into eight equal parts and make dough balls. Roll each into a circular sheet with a rolling pin.
Thaw K&N’s Frankfurter Sausages as per instructions on pack.
Place 2 wooden skewers parallel to each other vertically, and place K&N’s Frankfurter Sausage between them and cut with knife till wooden skewers. Do not cut into slices.
Place K&N’s Frankfurter Sausage in ring shape on top of the rolled out dough. Push the dough inside of each portion of sausage using a wooden skewer covering the edges.
Add mozzarella cheese and vegetable filling inside of the ring and top with egg yolk.
Transfer to a greased baking tray and bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°C for 7-8 minutes or until egg is cooked through. Serve warm.
For Dough
In a bowl, add all-purpose flour, olive oil, mixed herbs and salt. Gradually add water and knead into soft dough. Let it rest for 20 minutes. Set aside.
- Carrots - ½ cup; chopped
- Green bell pepper - ½ cup; chopped
- Onion - ½ cup; chopped
- Eggs whites - 3
- Green chillies - 2 tbsp; chopped
- Black pepper powder - 1 tsp
- Paprika powder - 1 tsp
- Salt - 1 tsp
Add all the ingredients in a bowl, mix well and set aside.
