- K&N’s Kofta Home-Style - 10-15 koftas
- Oil - ½ cup
- Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
- Star anise - 1
- Bay leaf - 1
- Onion paste - 1 cup
- Tomato puree - ½ cup
- Red chilli powder - 1½ tsp
- Lentil paste - as required
- Water - 1 cup
- Salt - 1 tsp
- Green chillies - 3-4
- Whole spice mix - ½ tsp
- Cream - as required
- Coriander leaves - as required
Fry K&N’s Kofta Home-Style as per instructions on pack.
Heat oil in a pot and add cumin seeds, star anise, bay leaf and cook for a minute.
Add onion paste and cook for 4-5 minutes.
Add tomato puree, red chilli powder and cook until oil separates.
Add prepared lentil paste, water, salt, green chillies and cook until desired consistency has reached.
Add prepared K&N’s Kofta to the gravy.
Add whole spice mix and cook for another 2 minutes.
Drizzle some cream and garnish with coriander leaves. Daal Kofta curry is ready. Serve with rice or roti.

- Split chickpeas lentil - 1 cup
- Red lentil - ½ cup
- Green lentil skinless - ½ cup
- Whole red chillies - 3-4
- Salt - 1 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds - ½ tsp
- Fennel seeds - ½ tsp
In a pot heat water and bring to boil. Add split chickpeas lentil, red lentil, skinless green lentil and whole red chillies; boil over medium low flame until fully done.
Let the lentils cool down, transfer mixture into blender and add salt, coriander powder, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, fennel seeds and blend into a smooth paste. Set aside.
